Dan Gesualdo and I had a Golden Eagle pass to the west with a good number of raptors and vulture movement just to the north of Edison Woods at 2:45 pm. Beginning at 11 am, birds were on the move with an impressive number of Red-shouldered Hawks plus Red-tailed, Cooper's and Sharp-shinned Hawks. Flight dominated by Turkey Vultures. The blasting SSW winds at 30-45 mph pushed the flight everywhere, with birds scattered in low disheveled flight lines from the lakefront to inland by 2 miles.
