All of my overwintering sparrows have been singing for a while now. One of
the best things about retirement is being able to hear all the bird song
first thing in the morning. Love it!
We have a lot of American Tree Sparrows singing their sweet little melody
in the weeks before they leave. Add in the Song, White-throated
and White-crowned Sparrows with a sprinkling of Juncos and all the other
resident birds and it's a piece of heaven. I am truly enjoying Spring here
in northeast Stark County. Just had to say that.
