Taking my own advice to search riparian areas, I stopped by a good Columbus trap along the Olentangy River, Antrum Lake Park, this afternoon. Despite the heat of the day, there were still some migrants about, including
Swallows - Trees & Rough-wings
Flycatchers - only E.Phoebe
Gnatcatchers - still numerous (here, 16/1hour)
Kinglets - 1 Ruby-crown
Thrushes - 1 Swainson's (my FOS)
Warblers - Yellow (2), Yellow-throated (2), Yellow-rumped (2), Palm (1), ComYellowthroat (1)
Sparrows - Chipping, Song, White-throated (few)
Icterids - 5 Baltimore Orioles, along with expected Rediwngs-Grackles-Cowbirds
