Today while quickly driving by on Walnut rd., saw a Bald Eagle flying
amongst two turkey vultures just south of smothers bridge. White head was
fairly present, nearing adulthood. Cormorants are back and floating about
the water. Also, an eared grebe in breeding plumage was diving near a
fisherman.

The spillway had little but mallards and one blue winged teal. Warm weather
has moved the winterers north!
