Bittern still there as of 4 pm. South on the RR tracks in the Cuyahoga Valley NP's station road lot (brecksville), past the main marsh to a little patch of open water amongst cat tails, on the far side where the cat tails are showing green sprouts, about 70 feet from the tracks. Nearly impossible to see if it doesn't move (or even if it does, too). Join us tomorrow morning at 7:30, that's where one of the weekly spring bird walks does a census.

> American Bittern near Old Station Rd. Parking Lot in Cuyahoga Valley
> National Park. If you are standing in the parking lot, and look at the
> station, go left on the railway tracks until you reach a swampy area which
> will then be on your right. Seen at 12:30 pm today.

> Also the highlights from the Kirtland Bird Club Field Trip which occurred in

>
> Yellow-throated Warblers, Eastern Screech Owl, Red-headed Woodpecker, a
> Pileated Woodpecker nest, and a Bald Eagle Nest.
