While I was working outside this morning, a Yellow Warbler and a
Blue-winged Warlber were singing in the trees along the fence line behind
my barn. A Warbling Vireo was singing across the street in a small woodlot
(they have nested there for many years, now). Eastern Tufted Titmouse (2),
Song Sparrows (3), Chipping Sparrows(2) and American Goldfinches (2) were
all in full song most of the day. It's wonderful to hear the birds singing
again. :)
