Led a Cleveland Metroparks hawkwatch at Edgewater Park from 9:30 am to 1 pm -- highlights: 113 Broad-winged Hawks, 47 Sharp-shinned Hawks, 18 Cooper's Hawks, 38 Red-tailed and 2 Red-shouldered Hawks, 3 Osprey, 3 Bald Eagles, 1 Northern Harrier, 2 Peregrine Falcons. Birds were remarkably, ridiculously high and disrupted by an onshore north wind that ended up pushing kettles and streams inland after 12 pm. Great to finally score south-based winds, though, and a small flight.
