Greetings,

I am a local church pastor who is an avid birder as well. My church is
indulging my crazy passion for birds in allowing me to let my vocation and
avocation collide in few events on the first weekend of May.

At 7:00 PM on Friday, May 6, I will offer an Introduction to Birdwatching
class at my church, Old South United Church of Christ, 9802 Chillicothe
Road, Kirtland.

At 8:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, I will lead a local bird walk to neighboring
Chapin Forest, but we will gather in the church parking lot.

At 10:00, we will return to the church where I will offer a talk about how
I see spirituality in my birdwatching and how birdwatching impacts my
spirituality.

This is not a membership drive or proselytizing, just a free community
event celebrating nature. I would love to have you join me for any or all
of it.
