Hi all,

Beth and I took a walk in Lake View Cemetery this afternoon (for those who don’t know this lovely place, it’s between Cleveland, Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland). Not that much going on there—some things were expected—lots of American Robins, still good numbers of Juncos, several Canada Goose, three mallards, a few Blue Jays and Northern Cardinals.

A solo Turkey Vulture flew over, and was chased by a solo American Crow.

There were some nice highlights:

One Northern Flicker

One Golden-Crowned Kinglet

One Brown Creeper

One Hermit Thrush (the snow helped us with the thrush—it ran along the snow-free pavement ahead of us, like a robin, providing terrific views)

Best wishes,

Steve Cagan
Cleveland Heights
