Some highlights from the Audubon bird walk here at CanalWay Center, Clevelandmetroparks Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation in Cuyahoga Hts.


Although it was only in the 20's with snow on the ground and about 200 Marathon Runners on the trail we saw 41 species of birds.  Some of which were

many Golden-crowned Kinglets

2 Pied-billed Grebes

Wild Turkeys (mail displaying)

Bald Eagle adult

Bonaparte's Gulls

Belted Kingfisher

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker

American Kestrel

6 Eastern Phoebe (found a dead one that was all bones, no fat or meat, must have starved)

1 Tree Swallow (hope it made it through the night)

Yellow-rumped Warblers


Still seeing Dark-eyed Juncos, White-throated Sparrows and Tree Sparrows
