This morning I saw two Eastern Phoebes gathering nest materials near Alexander Road and Dunham Road near the park parking lot. There is a small stream on the edge of the lot where the birds were picking up things.

I also saw a Magnolia Warbler near the parking lot at Hutchinson Fields off West Grace Avenue.
A Cooper's hawk was being chased by a crow and two starlings in this area, too.

While driving along Tinkers Creek Road and Canal Road after leaving the park, I had a number of small birds fly in front of my car. <sigh> That is one part of the spring/summer increase in bird numbers that I really hate.
