Yesterday I decided to bird the Big Meadows area of Highbanks Metro Park -- it had been a while since I did that area so I was curious to see what I could find. I did the area from the Olentangy River to the edge of the woods; I decided not to go into the woodland habitat, but focused on the riparian, meadow and woodland edge habitats. I did this from 2:00pm-5:00pm; not the most ideal time, but you take what you can get! I got 29 species total:
