I squeezed in stops at several isolated woodlands NE of Columbus, starting with Jefferson Township Park (on Clark State Rd), then moving to nearby Hannah Farms Park, before finishing up at Rocky Fork MetroPark in New Albany. The woodlands in each spot were crawling with migrants, mostly grosbeaks and warblers, but with good overall migrant diversity. Oaks were still the star attractor, especially at Hannah Farms, which borders several patches of Oak-Hickory forest. Highlights included:

Flycatchers - Great Crested at Jeff Township, Acadian at RFMP, but generally not many of this group yet
Swallows - only Barn was common to all 3 sites
Vireos - Jeff Township had Blue-headed, Yellow-throated, and Red-eyed; the other two had only Red-eyed
Kinglets - not a single kinglet today
Thrushes - Jeff Township had a Veery, while RFMP had singing Wood Thrushes
Mimids - Catbirds were common at all 3 sites, but Hannah Farms had a Mockingbird, and RFMP had a thrasher
Waxwings - a small flock was at Hannah Farms

Warblers - the most common were Tennessee, Yellow-rumps, and Black-thr.Greens, which were at all sites. Also had Yellow, Parula, Nashville, Magnolia (3+ at RFMP), Chesnut-sided (4+ at HF), Blackburnian, Bay-breasted (1 at RFMP), Blackpoll (1 singing at HF), CapeMay (HF), Palms, Black&Whites, Black-thr.Blue, AmerRedstarts, Ovenbird, and ComYellowthroat

Tanagers - singing Scarlets were at both HF and RFMP
Grosbeaks - big day for Rose-breasted, with 8+ at Jeff Township, and 4 at each of the other parks
Buntings - Indigos were common, with 3-4 at each site
Sparrows - nothing unusual, though there were flocks of White-throateds at all sites
Orioles - singing Baltimores at every site, which is unusual since none of these have riparian forest
