We had a 22 species of warblers yesterday morning in Carroll County.  Most of these we seen in areas east of Wattsville in East-Central Carroll on a high point at the intersection of Orlon Rd. NE and Ocelot Rd. NE.  I believe if we had the whole day available to us with a focus primarily on just seeing how many warblers we could find we may have been able to get over 25 species, but 22 is a pretty great number for inland Ohio with so many widely dispersed birds due to a lack of favorable migration conditions.

Magnolia Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler (aka the Tuxedo Warbler)
Palm Warbler
Pine Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Yellow-breasted Chat (at Fargo Rd. in western Carroll).

We also had FOY Veery, Least Flycatcher, and Eastern Wood Peewee.
