Got a late start on such a beautiful day. Went to Hog-back Ridge in
Madison. Got there around 10:30AM. Got my FOY Great Crested
Flycatcher. Ended with 29 species. Just sitting on a bench over
looking the valley we had 15 species. " Just sit and they will come".
After Hog-back we headed to Kingsville, south down 193 to Stollacker
Rd. to look for Upland Sandpipers. Thanks to Jim H.!! We found 2 very
cooperative sandpipers. One was calling from atop of a telephone pole.
He was actively pursuing the Mrs. Nice to hear him calling. Seen at
1:45PM. Great day to be out.
