I had a bit of time after work yesterday & today and birded a few of the parks along an urban stretch of Alum Creek in east Columbus. I started at Mock park yesterday, also visiting Weiler Parkland, then today stopped at Jeffrey Park a bit further south. Still mostly mid-Spring migrants, with highlights being

flycatchers - only Great Crested and E.Phoebes so far, at all 3 sites
Vireos - Blue-headed widespread, but also found Red-eyed, White-eyed, and Warbling
Swallows - plenty of Rough-winged (they nest here), along with some Barns & Trees
Kinglets - still quite a few Ruby-crowned around, with 4 at Mock Park the high
Gnatcatchers - also plenty of them around, with 6-8 at every site
Thrushes - 3-4 Wood Thrushes at Weiler, but no Swainsons anywhere
Mimids - quite a few Gray Catbirds; also had a Mockingbird near Mock Park
Warblers - 14 species, with Yellow-rumpeds still predominant, but good numbers of Palms and Bl-thr.Greens. Also had Nashville, Chesnut-sided, Blackburnian, Parula, Yellow, Yellow-throated, Am.Redstart, Black&White, Com.Yellowthroat, Ovenbird, and Hooded.
Tanagers - singing Summer Tanager at Jeffrey
Grosbeaks - Rose-breasted at many locations, often in elms
Sparrows - still small flocks of White-throateds at every spot
Orioles - several Baltimores along Creek at Weiler and Jeffrey
