  Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of I 270
& Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit

  Below is a list of some of the Birds seen on our monthly Bird hike

     Sugarbush Trail 7:00 am
       C Yellowthroat-2
       Tanagers
          Scarlet
          Summer
       E Bluebird
       E Wood Peewee
       Ruby-throated Hummingbird
       Mallard-2-Fly Over
       Great Blue Heron-Fly Over
       Black-billoed Cuckoo
       Indigo Bunting

    Lake Trail 9:30 am
       Scarlet Tanager
       Indigo Bunting-2
       Red-eyed Vireo
       Great Crested Flycatcher
       E Towhee
       Wood Thrush


   Thoreau Lake 10:15 am
       Mallard-3 males, female
       Wood Duck- 3 males, 3 females, 5 Ducklings
       Yellow Warbler-2
       Great Egret
       Great Blue Heron
       E Phoebe- 2 adults, 1 young
       Great Crested Flycatcher

   Hickory Ridge Trail 11:10 am
       Wood Thrush
       Acadian Flycatcher

   Brookside Trail 11:30 am
       Carolina Wren
       Red-eyed Vireo

   Goldenrod Trail
       Cuckoos
         Yellow-billed
         Black-billed
