Bob, I live in Geauga County and there are still two singing Hooded Warblers along the 1.5 mile loop I walk with our dog. There are also two singing Acadian Flycatchers along that same route through the woods.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Singing hooded warbler, Muskingum County

This morning, 10:15, as Jane and I hiked down into the forest ravine at the south end of our property, a hooded warbler burst forth a few times with "weeta-weet-ee-o".

Delightful! Particularly at this late date.

Comparing notes with Jon Cefus in Carroll County, we also have a persistently singing white-eyed vireo near the house this year. And yellow-billed cuckoos apparently have had a banner year, likely owing to the Brood V cicadas earlier in the season.
