I checked many of the better migrant traps around this reservoir north of Columbus and was rewarded with lots of expected early migrants, but nothing terribly unusual. I stopped at New Galena boat launch, the east end of the dam, Cheshire boat launch & causeway, Dunham Rd Access (Alum Point), and Hogback basin. Water levels were quite hight (read: crap for shorebirds), so landbirds were the main focus. Highlights included:

Osprey - almost every stop had them, totaling 6 for the morning
Broad-winged Hawk - 1 was along the trails at New Galena. Often 1-2 show up around the reservoir about now
Yellow-billed Cuckoo - 1 was near the Cheshire boat launch
WoodPewees - lots, with birds at every stop. New Galena had 6.
E.Kingbirds - 2 were still around New Galena, while Alum Point had 3
Vireos - lots of Warbling and red-eyed at many stops; New galena led with 8 of the former, 6 of the latter.
Swallows - small #s of Barns everywhere, but movement of others appeared slight. Had Cliffs at 2 sites, and single Purple Martins at 3.
Gnatcatchers - 10+ at New Galena, but few at any other sites.
Thrushes - nothing other than Robins, and they were not very common
Mimids - lots of Catbirds, but nothing else
Warblers - nothing yet, with only 2 Yellows for the entire morning
Tanagers - an early female Scarlet was at New Galena
Orioles - good #s of Baltimores, with 1-2 at most stops, and 4 at New Galena
