I was out on the boat this evening around 7:15pm, and drove right past (8 feet away) 2 juvenile Black Terns in the No Wake Zone, sitting on a group of branches sticking up out of the water in the middle of the lake, located a little more than halfway between the campground and the Wake Zone. I am fairly certain that there was a third one flying around scooping up food. They were not there when I came back through 30 minutes later. I drove over to the beach to see if they joined the gulls, but I didn't see them.
Enjoy!Sara Queen
