Hi all,

The north end of Mosquito Lake (Trumbull County) has been producing an excellent number of shorebirds the past week. This afternoon at least eleven species of shorebirds were present with the highlights being a Marbled Godwit, Black-bellied Plover, and two Short-billed Dowitchers. Other birds of interest include a plegadis ibis sp. and at least 10 Sandhill Cranes.

The exact location is along Hoagland-Blackstub Road. There's a small pull-off overlooking the extensive mudflats. This site should be checked daily as anything can pop in!

Best,
Ethan Kistler
