I know some birders here visit Shake Lakes. I was wondering if anyone stopped by there lately. There aren't any recent eBird reports. There are usually some mudflats on Horseshoe Lake and Lower Shaker Lake when the water level is down. I was also asking because I saw a lot of Green-Winged Teals at Sandy Ridge a couple of days ago. I used to enjoy seeing these and other ducks at Shaker Lakes/Horseshoe Lake. Although these ducks are not rare birds, they are beautiful.
