This evening at Berlin Lake (Stark County) there were 3 Wilson's phaloropes, 2 white-rumped sandpipers, 1 Baird's sandpiper and a short-billed dowitcher among good numbers and variety of shorebirds.
These mudflats can be accessed off SR225 on the east end of German Church Rd.
There is a steep path going down to the mudflats but with care can be navigated. The path is about 100 ft. west of the entrance of the new Marina driveway.
