Hey all,

A friend of mine reported seeing a strange bird down at Leesville Lake, near South Fork Marina in Carroll County yesterday morning. By his description, he seemed fairly certain it was an Anhingha. Just to clarify, I asked if it may be a Double-Crested Cormorant, as they appear somewhat similar to an untrained eye (my friend has some experience in birds, but more in yard birds). He stated that there was no hook to the bill and had a long skinny neck, which was the only part sticking out of the water. If anyone is in the area, it may be looking into.
