Matthew Shumar will be speaking tonight, September 6, at 6:30 pm, at the Athens Public Library at 30 Home Street in Athens, Ohio. 

Matthew is a bird expert, scientist, and co-editor of the Second Atlas of Breeding Birds in Ohio that summarizes years of field work of hundreds of volunteers.

The free presentation is hosted by the Athens Area Birders, and co-sponsored by the Ohio Ornithological Society. There will be light refreshments and copies of the atlas will be for available for sale.
