I went to the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve on the Cleveland lakefront today from 10:05am to 3:35pm.  While I did miss some of the warblers and birds seen by others I did see a different mix of birds today.  My warbler species count was only eight but there were many Magnolia Warblers.  Here are some of my finds:  Warblers--Magnolia ~18, Black-throated Green 1, Bay-breasted 1, Blackpoll 6, American Redstart 5, Common Yellowthroat 5, Wilson's 2, and Mourning 1 female (originally found by Claire- seen just west of entrance-low to the ground would sometimes pop up on some branches and go back to the ground) I did not think I had a picture but I found one when I put on my computer but can't see much from it)
Also, after going to my car around 1pm to look for something to eat when I came back inside there was a Rose-breasted Grosbeak squeaking north of the grassy path and an Olive-sided Flycatcher on the tall snag also north of path.
Other birds seen:  Eastern Wood-Pewee 2, Yellow-bellied Flycatchers 3, Least Flycatcher 2, Great Crested Flycatcher 2, Unidentified Flycatchers 3, Warbling Vireo 5, Red-eyed Vireos 6, Philadelphia Vireo 3, Swainson's Thrush 5, only a few Cedar Waxwings, Catbirds 9-10, Song Sparrows 7.
I left there and went to Willowick and on my way back I stopped at Sims Park in Euclid around 4:30pm to 5:10pm.  The lake was rough but the air was calm just before the thunder-lightning, very high winds and sheets of rain moved in near the lake I found the only birds near the west end near the beach- Magnolia Warblers 2, Blackpoll 2, Black-throated Green 1, Blackburnian 1 all bouncing around from tree to tree.
