At Conneaut harbor this morning: green-winged teal, 47 common mergansers (3 flyby flocks), 130 double-crested cormorants, 42 turkey vultures, 7 bald eagles, Virginia rail, 2 black-bellied plovers, 2 semipalmated plovers, sanderling, least sandpiper, 2 greater yellowlegs, 4 Caspian terns, marsh wren, and Am. pipit.  At Walnut Beach in Ashtabula, the water was up a little from last week so there was reduced mudflats.  Seen there at lunchtime were: blue-winged teal, 3 green-winged teal, green heron, bald eagle, 3 black-bellied plovers, 2 pectoral sandpipers, belted kingfishers, 2 e. phoebes, gray catbird, and c. yellowthroats.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
