  Blendon Woods Metro Park is located in the northeast corner of Columbus
off of I 270 & Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit.

   Below is a list of some of the Birds seen in the last week

     Lake Trail
       Red-headed Woodpecker
       Pileated Woodpecker
       Ruby-crowned Kinglet
       Golden-crowned Kinglet
       E Towhee
       White-throated Sparrow
       Broad-winged Hawk
       N Flicker


   Thoreau Lake
       Gadwall
       Mallards
       A Black Duck
       N Shoveler
       Ring-necked Duck
       American Coot
       Wood Duck
       Pied-billed Grebe
       Great Blue Heron
       Double-crested Cormorant
       Belted Kingfisher

  Nature Center
       Yellow-rumped Warbler
       Dark-eyed Junco
       Red-breasted Nuthatch-visiting bird feeding area often-male and
female
