I made my first trip of the season down to these two Mahoning Co. reservoirs today.  It looked like I caught a good waterfowl fallout.  Evans L. had: 40 gadwalls, Am. wigeon, 10 n. shovelers, 65 lesser scaup, 75 buffleheads, 85 hooded mergansers, 5 common mergansers, 25 ruddy ducks, 2 c. loons, 30 pied-billed grebes, double-crested cormorants, 120 Am. coots, great blue heron, osprey, bald eagle, Bonaparte's gulls, and herring gulls.  At Pine L. were: Canada geese, 100 gadwalls, mallards, n. shovelers, 100 lesser scaup, 55 buffleheads, 26 ruddy ducks, pied-billed grebe, hooded merganser, red-shouldered hawk, belted kingfisher, e. bluebirds, and dark-eyed juncos.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
