Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of I 270 &
Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit.

Below is a list of some of the Birds seen in the last week.

    Lake Trail
       Woodpeckers
         Pileated
         Hairy
         N Flicker
         Red-headed
      Hawks
        Cooper's
        Sharpie
        Red-tailed
     White-throated Sparrow
     Carolina Wren
     Kinglets
        Ruby-crowned
        Golden-crowned
    E Bluebird
    Yellow-rumped Warbler
    Hermit Thrush

  Thoreau Lake
    A Black duck
    Mallard
    Gadwall
    Wood duck
    N Shoveler
    Rudy duck
    Pied-billed Grebe
    Great Blue Heron
    American Coot
    Belted Kingfisher
    Killdeer
    Red-breasted Nuthatch-at Feeder

 Nature Center
    Red-breasted Nuthatch
    Yellow-rumped Warbler
    Dark-eyed Junco
    White-throated Sparrow
    Hermit Thrush

 Turkeys-everywhere
    Bird Feeders
       Nature Center
       East Blind- Thoreau
       Ranger Station

 Red-headed Woodpecker-as many as 10 has been seen at one time
    Lake Trail-pipeline cut
    Hickory Ridge Trail
    Brookside Trail-first 100 yards
    Sugarbush Trail- first 60 yards
