Geauga County driving and birding day (sun was out!):
Hayes Road, Middlefield, between Peters and Bridge
- one each dark and light morph rough-legged hawks
- female harrier caught/ate a rodent
- two kestrels, one eating a mouse on a fence post
Burton, Rt 700 about 1 mile or so south of town
- four sandhill cranes standing in a field 200 ft off the road
(also a nice lunch at Mary Yoder's in Middlefield.)
