seen this afternoon, about 100 each of
 - ring-necked ducks
 - ruddy ducks
 - hooded mergansers

location:  Rt 18, 1/2 mile west of River Styx Road
(east of Medina center)

on north side of Rt 18.
unmarked entrance to a small paved parking lot,
short walk and stairs to the elevated reservoir.

always a variety of waterfowl.
expecting loons and horned grebes later.
scope helps but not required.
