Just received word from Ed Schlabach who this morning confirmed a female Western Tanager in Holmes County. Ed's note is pasted below.Kent Miller

     

   

 I just got back from confirming a Western Tanager (female) that is visiting a feeder at the Marvin Troyer residence in NE Holmes county since about Nov. 30. The address is 8337 Township Road 662 which is .2 mile south of US route 62 (this is just south and west of Wilmot, OH). Birders are welcome. Vehicles should park along the south (left) side of the driveway by the outbuildings. The feeders can be observed from this area. Do not park on the other side of the driveway as this is too close to the feeders. Also, stay out of the yard and please be courteous. There should be ample space for parking and observing in the designated area.  Thanks and good luck on seeing this first Holmes County and Bobolink area record. Ed Schlabach
