I've been checking the Struthers-Lowellville section of the Mahoning R. this month, with some pretty good results.  Today I had Canada geese, 2 Am. black ducks, mallards, 2 ring-necked ducks, 3 c. goldeneyes, 14 hooded mergansers, ruddy duck, Cooper's hawk, 2 red-tailed hawks, downy woodpecker, Am. kestrel, e. bluebird, 5 Am. tree sparrows, 10 dark-eyed juncos, and song sparrow.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
