Hi all - yesterday a Merlin was flying over a field on St Rt 305 in
Champion Twp about a mile from my place. I'm wondering if this is the same
bird that was at me feeders a while back. An adult Cooper's (pretty large
so I'm leaning toward female) has been at the feeder off and on for about
three weeks, and a female N. Harrier was patrolling the area the first two
weeks of January.

Also, yesterday on a side road (Champion Twp), I saw a single adult Mute
Swan walking around in someone's front yard. I drove back to check on it
about half an hour after I spotted it, and the swan was swimming in a
small, deep puddle in the same yard. It was quite a sight.

Judy
