a pair of banded mute swans seen this afternoon
on Cove Road, just south of Nesmith Lake, Summit County.

large loose fitting black neck bands labelled PLX01 and PLX02
on the two swans.

also, at Summit Lake, multiples of each:
coots, redheads, ring-necked ducks, hooded mergansers,
gadwalls, mallards, canada geese, plus one greater scaup.
