can anyone explain the absence of winter turkey vultures in Hinckley
(as well as all of Summit County, as far as I can tell),
yet the significant winter population of turkey vultures, plus
a few black vultures, in nearby and slightly north Brecksville?

is there an analogy with other bird species in Ohio?
