A quick afternoon hike around this wooded park southeast of Columbus found lots of late winter activity on a warm afternoon. Woodpeckers were abundant, with lots of drumming & territorial skirmishes, and 3 Red-headed woodpeckers were still in the vicinity of Ashton Pond. The Nature Center feeders had large #s of Cardinals, plus a small flock of Red-winged Blackbirds, as well as lingering Red-br.Nuthatch and Tree Sparrow.
