Not that Sandhills are completely rare, but they aren't normally seen on the ground in Lake County.  There are two in Kirtland Hills in the giant fields along the Chagrin River on Route 615 just south Route 90.  They've been there since at least 8:30 this morning.  Both were getting a little too close to the road for comfort, but be careful about stopping here as the police usually don't appreciate it.
