There was a single Great Egret yesterday around 12:15pm at the Ira Beaver
Marsh. Bird was initially in the cattails at south end of the marsh. Then
flew towards the boardwalk, where it banked back south due to people on the
boardwalk, and then landed in a snag above the phragmite patch. Bird then
flew east towards the Cuyahoga River then started north, before turning
around yet again. Appeared to land in the old oxbow between the Towpath
Trail and the Cuyahoga River. Chances are, it may resume feeding at the Ira
Beaver Marsh if it hasn't left the area.
