I went to Villa Angela and Wildwood Parks on the east side of Cleveland today on Lake Erie.  Except for Thursday when I didn't see anything interesting in the afternoon I had not been there since last weekend when I also didn't see much interesting.  Today I was there from 11am to 3pm.  I looked at the temperatures for my city when I got home and at 10am it was 60 degrees, 11am was 50, 12pm was 46 and 1pm was 50, and 2pm was 55 degrees.  Wildwood was cold with north and northeast winds when I started.  I had to go back to my car around 12:30pm to warm up my hands and eat my lunch and I saw three Great Egrets fly in from the south over the marina parking lot and then fly west and then southwest out of sight.
Here are some of my sightings today:  Song Sparrows everywhere today about 34, only one A. Tree Sparrow, Golden-crowned Kinglets ~ 14 (both parks), Fox Sparrow 1 in Villa Angela, Winter Wrens - 2 in Villa Angela, Eastern Phoebes 2 seen in Villa Angela only after it warmed up around 2:30pm, Eastern Towhee 1 (seen in both parks but usually in Wildwood eastern end of woods above creek--been hanging around for over a month to six weeks, plus the three Great Egrets mentioned above.
Also seen in the marina two Hooded Mergansers, Coot, two Bufflehead and two in front of Villa Angela. Two Great Black-backed Gulls at Villa Angela with usual Red-breasted Mergansers. One Horned Grebe in marina and Pied-billed Grebe around wetland--I had not seen Kinglets, Fox Sparrow, Phoebe, Winter Wrens or Great Egrets before today this year.
