Tipped off by another birder but hard to miss given its sweet song--my fos Yellow Warbler was near the end of the Boardwalk at Beaver Marsh today, late morning. There was a Ruby-crowned Kinglet and a couple pairs of Wood Ducks along with many Tree Swallows.

Earlier in the AM, I explored the Ledges area in CVNP. I was delighted to hear, then see well, a Winter Wren--it even did a marvelous, wing-fluttering display not far from the trail. I found another vocal one farther down the path. Such a cool bird. I also had Blue-gray Gnatcatchers & a singing Yellow-throated Warbler in the same area.

BTW, I am new to the Cleveland area and would appreciate suggestions on the best places to bird or even join up with some local birders to learn the area. Pls contact me offlist. Many thx!
