Hi Everyone,

So far the spring had not brought migrants to the yard—well, perhaps a couple of Robins—but just increased activity from all the birds who are here, lots more vocalizing. We still have winter birds—Dark-eyed Junco and Red-breasted Nuthatch—coming to the feeders.

But today we had our first certifiable spring migrant in the back yard—a Hermit Thrush, moving around quite a bit and giving us good looks.
