Sorry for the late post but I wasn't signed up for the list yet, having just moved from AZ to the Cleveland area.

Had my foy Yellow-throated & Yellow-rumped Warblers at Station Rd on Wednesday. Great to be back in Ohio! I spent some time at the Bald Eagle nest there & 2 photographers confirmed they had seen 2 chicks at the same time. I only saw one in the time I was there. A peregrine flew by the parking lot as I was leaving.

Also, 2 Fox Sparrows at Tinker Creek where a Red-shouldered Hawk swooped & landed in some weeds right in front of me. Apparently, an unsuccessful hunt as I did not see any hapless prey in its talons.

Tonite, I joined the CVNP Woodcock walk near the Park Headquarters. Perhaps 4-5 birds heard "peenting" as well as some aerial displays. Best was a male that landed on the trail near the group & was seen well as it peented. We heard Fox Sparrows there as well.
