A late start compounded by traffic woes delayed my arrival to Lk Erie Bluffs until nearly 10 so it was pretty quiet. First trip to this park.

Did pick up my FOS YB Chat & Bank Swallow. The Chat even allowed a few photos. Other birds: Scarlet Tanager (h), Willow FC, Orchard Orioles (pair having a bit of a squabble), Baltimores, Field Sparrow (h), Wild Turkey, Wood Thrush (h), Brown Thrashers, Catbirds of course. Only other warblers were Yellows, YTs, BT Blue (h) & Redstarts.

I stopped briefly at Mentor Marsh but the wind was howling so I moved on to Chagrin.

Quiet also but the male Mourning Warbler was the prize. Besides a zillion more Yellows, had one Maggie & more YTs.

A Philadelphia Vireo showed well & sang, another personal FOS. Indigo Buntings, Purple Martins, Rough-winged & Tree Swallows. Swainsons Thrushes, Alder FC (FOS), Least & Willow FCs. More Orchard & Baltimore Orioles. Adult Bald Eagle flew over the river & had a vocal Red-shouldered. Looked for a Blue Grosbeak but no luck.
