Just received a report from Su Snyder & Atlee Yoder that there is a Western Meadowlark at 9812 South Kansas Road, Fredericksburg in Wayne County. The bird is usually viewable from the road but birders are welcome to park at the address which is the home of David Miller and look for the bird. The bird was discovered on Thursday, May 18. This is, I believe, less than a mile from the Loggerhead Shrike at 11141 Salt Creek Road. Vesper Sparrows have been reported in this area as well.Kent Miller
