Jason Simonis had the two Red-necked Phalaropes along the north side of Federal Rd west of South Solon in Greene Co. at 11:30 this morning. These two birds have been in and out and in and out again of this sky pond for 3-4 days. When present, they hug the far ‘shore’ and are in and out of the vegetation. Also present today is a Black-necked Stilt, which has also been in and out of this pond since 5/24. Jason is also reporting a Ruddy Turnstone from there this morning.

There are several other sky ponds in the vicinity and some have had up to eight White-rumped Sandpipers.

Use these GPS coordinates: 39.7455394,-83.6683342.
