I stopped at the west Dublin woodlands this morning (before heading out to a butterfly survey at Darby Headwaters Preserve) and had an interesting selection of unusual residents and a few late migrants. I started at Trabue Preserve, then visited nearby Avery Park Woods, before heading up to bird around the trails in the north area of Glacier Ridge. The windmill field there is changing, with a lot of shrubs and dogbane crowding into the grasslands, so there's noticeably less habitat for sparrows & bobolinks there now. Notable birds included:

Flycatchers - Pewees, Great Crested, and Willow Flycatchers at every stop, while Acadian was in the woodlot south of the Glacier Ridge parking area.

Vireos - Red-eyed at every stop, but also had Warbling & White-eyed at a few spots

Thrushes - Swainson's were at Trabue & Avery, while Woods were at Avery & Glacier Ridge

Warblers - Yellows & Common Yellowthroats were at many spots; and 2 Yellow-br.Chats were in the overgrown fields at Glacier Ridge. The only likely migrants were Redstarts at Trabue & Avery

Grosbeaks,Buntings - no Rose-breasted, but did have Indigo Buntings at every stop

Tanagers - Scarlets at Trabue & Glacier Ridge, while a male Summer was at Glacier Ridge just west of the main parking lot.

Orioles - Baltimores at Trabue & Glacier Ridge, while 2 Orchards were in the overgrown fields at Glacier Ridge

Icterids - only 2 Bobolinks were singing in the fields north of the windmill at Glacier Ridge, but E.Meadowlarks were widespread at Glacier Ridge with 7-8 in the meadows around the bikepath loop
