I certainly understand not wanting Ohio-Birds to become commercialized, but at the same time, I will have to disagree with Bill in this specific case.  I really appreciate when people post birding events and other opportunities for birding with others.  Being one of the only people on the face of the planet without a Facebook account, I really appreciate hearing about birder gatherings. I do agree with Bill on the need for more detailed postings. I really love the sightings that detail habitat, behavior, etc., as opposed to a checklist.
