I ventured out this afternoon after the rain stopped.

A few migrants: Warbling Vireo, lots of Yellow Warblers, one Yellow-rumped, one Com YT, 2 E Kingbirds. House Wren. A Rose-breasted GB was heard. One Rough-winged Swallow amidst the Tree Swallows.

Nicest find was one Horned Grebe on the lake in its lovely breeding plumage. Have no idea if this is unusual at this location.

A pair of Canada Geese was sheparding 5 fuzzy goslings.

I could only walk around the lake. The other trails I found were closed.
